In addition to our horseback riding, guests can enjoy other ranch activities such as fishing or relaxing by the pond with a good book and beverage. There are cane poles available or guests may bring their own fishing gear if they choose. The pond is also home to several ducks, both farm raised and fly-in visitors.
Although most of the time is spent enjoying outdoor ranch activities, there are indoor activities available such as Ping-Pong, cards and various board games. Some folks get back in from riding and just enjoy relaxing in a rocker on the front porch or finding a hammock under a tree.
Hiking/walking trails are also easily accessible from the ranch. The horses welcome you to visit their pasture any time of day. Take a late afternoon stroll before dinner or an early morning walk before breakfast. At Shangrila Guest Ranch, one thing is for sure, you don’t have to go far to see the horses!
